The Texas Association of Community Health Centers (TACHC) is a non-profit organization that serves as the primary care association (PCA) for the state of Texas. TACHC's members include federally qualified health centers in the state and other providers who strive to meet the health care needs of the uninsured and underserved.
Governor Perrry declares Aug 10-16, 2008 "Community Health Center Week"
TACHC provides a variety of services to its members, including:
- Advocacy for Centers at the state and national level
- Grant writing assistance
- Pharmacy and lab contracts
- Recruitment and retention programs
- Educational programs for clinicians and administrators
TACHC is dedicated to providing essential support to these Centers which are serving as the primary health care providers for Texans who are most in need.
