We are hosting a complimentary webcast featuring your community health center colleagues sharing best practices for Medical and Dental Assistant preceptorship/externships offered at their respective centers. This webcast is a follow up to the “Invest, Train & Retain” breakout session from the TACHC 35th annual conference. Our panelists will share with the audience the benefits of collaborating with local medical and dental assistant programs to support preceptorship/externship opportunities and the positive impact it has had on the students, staff and health center as a whole. Our extremely knowledgeable and diverse panelist include: Hilda Gonzalez (Brownsville Community Health Center), Debra Makowsky (HealthPoint), Dr. Clifton Martin (Family Health Center).

Join us on Thursday, December 13th from 12-1pm to hear from your colleagues how local affiliations with medical and dental assistant programs have yielded success for their organizations.

You’ll learn:

1)      How centers developed partnerships with local medical and dental assistant programs

2)      Success stories on recruiting and retaining medical and dental assistants

3)      Curriculum development and lessons learned
