8:00 AM-1:00 PM (CT)

Intended Audience: Current 2019 -2021 OC3 Teams

Due to concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in accordance with health guidance from the CDC, WHO, and other health authorities, the OC³ Learning Session 2 previously scheduled as a face to face learning session, will continue as a Virtual Learning Session through the use of an online learning Zoom platform.

The two (2) virtual half day sessions are designed to expand the teams’ knowledge about access and redesign change components. The focus related to these components is on identifying additional change concepts within each component that can be tested, and on applying each component to their real life clinical settings. Teams have an opportunity to share changes they have tested and identify additional changes within each of the components that that they can test and incorporate into their clinical practice. Teams will take a more in-depth look at panel establishment, office efficiency change concepts, take a deeper dive into access and redesign measures and examine the links between access and efficiency. Change management principals will be reviewed along with examination of various clinic roles and responsibilities. Measurement and reporting is revisited to clarify issues and enhance the process. The teams create a plan for testing new changes, trying to incorporate more high leverage access and redesign changes.
