As Director of Operations, Daniel oversees the day-to-day operations of TACHC ensuring that programs, training, and technical assistance meet ongoing needs of health centers in the state of Texas and align with strategic goals of the organization.  As Director of Operations, Daniel manages the TACHC community development, outreach and enrollment, recruitment and retention programs as well as the TACHC affiliate organization, Corporation for the Development of Community Health Centers (CDCHC). The community development program provides an array of technical assistance to existing health centers and communities to increase access to health care services through development of new clinic locations or expansion of oral and behavioral health services. The outreach and enrollment program provides technical assistance, training and support to health center Outreach and Enrollment staff trained as Certified Application Counselors and/or Your Texas Benefits Navigators.  The recruitment and retention program provides clinician and administrative recruitment services to TACHC member health centers. The recruitment and retention program manages a database of job vacancies at TACHC member centers, sources clinical and executive management candidates to fill the vacant positions, screens candidates to match with the vacancies, and refers quality candidates to member centers for recruitment. CDCHC is a non-profit revolving loan fund that provides health centers in Texas low interest rate financing for capital projects and equipment purchases.

Daniel has worked for TACHC since April 1993. Prior positions health at TACHC include Provider Services Specialist, Capital Development Program Coordinator, Community Development Coordinator, and Director of Community Development. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Texas - Austin in 1992.
