Medical Supplies

The Texas Association of Community Health Center medical supplies program collaborates with the National Association of Community Health Center business development affiliate Community Health Ventures (CHV) Value in Purchasing (ViP) program. ViP brings even greater access to savings and quality to health centers.

Founded in 2000, CHV was created under the direction of health center leadership and tasked with creating workable solutions to the tremendous economic pressures facing today’s health centers. By negotiating group purchasing agreements that achieve better pricing, service and contractual terms for the products and services health centers use on a daily basis, CHV helps health centers reduce costs and remain competitive. CHV's dedicated staff and management have over 50 years of combined Community Health Center experience and ensure that ViP meets the specialized needs of health centers.

The ViP program offers a choice of vendors for supply purchases. TACHC endorses Henry Schein Medical SuppliesMcKesson Medical-Surgical (McKesson includes PSS World Medical) and Medline Industries.
