Substance Use Disorder Program

The TACHC “SUD Program Development & Readiness Checklist” document is  a result of several of our centers’ requests for assistance in developing a successful SUD Program at their respective centers.

Different Behavioral Health models are provided to integrate into your SUD Program as you determine how your health center fits into the continuum of care.  Focus key topics to consider and discuss when planning for a successful program are also included within the document.  Weblinks to resources have been provided and validated tools have also been recommended.   While the components of an SUD Program may be pre-defined, the outreach and collaboration with community resources, as well as defined workflows within the health center, are critical to each unique setting and population.  Therefore, these should also be incorporated into the planning, whether for a new program or for growth of an existing program.
