As the Provider Services Specialist for the Recruitment and Retention (R&R) program Marcia’s primary function involves recruiting candidates for professional medical, dental, mid-level clinical and administrative opportunities for member Community Health Centers (CHCs). Marcia works closely with TACHC member centers to attract the right candidates to the right community opportunity through candidate sourcing, screening, pre-interviews & follow-up. She oversees the management of the recruitment database and the development of marketing materials and print advertisement to promote community health center opportunities in print and internet media and at various residency/training programs, career fairs and major clinical conferences. Marcia graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Psychology. Prior to joining TACHC, she was in senior Human Resources roles in varied industries. Marcia has nine years in the health care industry where she developed recruitment and retention programs for clinical and non-clinical specialties. She has also served on committees for Risk Management, Business Practices, and Joint Commission.
