RexAnn serves as a liaison between health centers and the Texas Association of Community Health Centers ensuring Federally Qualified Health Centers in the state of Texas are aware of the benefits of TACHC membership and utilizing appropriate TACHC services. She works directly with health centers to identify their needs and assess gaps that TACHC and affiliate services could help the health center in meeting their goals for quality, efficiency, and staff and patient engagement. Born and raised in the lower Rio Grande Valley, RexAnn moved to Central Texas and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University-San Marcos in 2006 and a Master of Public Administration in 2011 from Walden University. RexAnn’s prior experience includes 11 years in the field of Outreach and Enrollment assisting families and uninsured patients to apply for Medicaid, CHIP, and other public assistance programs and more recently in her role at TACHC in providing technical assistance and support to strengthen community health center outreach and enrollment programs.
