Aspen Webster joined TACHC’s Medical and Clinical Affairs team as a Trauma Informed Care Clinical Coordinator in August 2020. She is responsible for continued development of the curriculum, coordinating the trauma informed care ECHO and ECHO-like programs and podcast series, as well as coaching and training cohort members at health centers using a trauma-informed lens.
Prior to joining TACHC, Aspen worked as a mental health counselor in schools and for community nonprofit organizations. With over 10 years of experience in program development, and community building, and collaboration across various nonprofit sectors, including areas of campaign finance reform, physical health, health access, and reproductive health. She is an artist, a performer, and frequently takes part in and leads improvisational theater productions. Aspen is passionate about social justice and engaging with health access from an intersectional perspective. She received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations, with a specialization in Latin America, from Tufts University. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from University of Texas, Austin and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
