Daniela De Luna Olivares is the Deputy Director of State Affairs for the Texas Association of Community Health Centers. Daniela is responsible for collaborating with federal and state partners to advance policy and practices to help fulfill the mission of community health centers.She has previous healthcare policy experience with Texas Health and Human Services Medicaid and CHIP Division, and Office of Inspector General. She has worked on developing Medicaid managed care policies, as well as operational implementation of strategic initiatives with providers and members. Prior to that, she worked for an Austin-based consulting firm with a focus on healthcare market research. She has Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and Masters degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Daniela was raised in Eagle Pass and is committed to improving access to health and social services for her community and others like it in Texas.
